So good, the bread sticks and cheese dip is always so delicious. I had the chicken fajita pita add jalapeños, it was very good, my son had a reuben. The food is always delicious, and incredibly great friendly service every time.

This is a very popular place for the locals. Our wait time was short. About 15 minutes. The waitress was super nice. My salad was awesome and tasty. I would definitely come back on my next trip out here. The place is visually very pleasing and cheery. Lots of twinkling lights.

We enjoyed the outdoor seating on a perfect day. All the food was better than I expected. The bread sticks were crisp and warm served with a dip and a spread. The sticks weren't well with the bloody marys. I ordered the appetizer Whitefish cakes as my entree. All the food was excellent, as was the service.

Great locally caught fish! Someone in my party said they had the best burger of their life! Clam chowder was great! The environment is so cozy with good music at an appropriate volume.

Fun little venue with a great vibe and cozy atmosphere. Had lunch there in a Friday and was worth the stop. Not a huge dining area but we were seated promptly. The Friday fish special was a great choice. And the Skatchata was something unique - ham and salami and cheese on a homemade pizza bread. Excellent food and great service. Highly recommend if you want good food and a nice meal.

We went to The Portside Inn for my birthday, and it was a great experience! My husband, our oldest son, and two friends joined us. The food was great, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the waitstaff was friendly and attentive. Everyone in our group really enjoyed their meals. It made for a lovely birthday celebration—highly recommend

5 stars all around for great service and mouth watering food. The French onion soup was the best I've had. Hot tip: order their bread sticks as a dipping bread for the soup and you won't leave disappointed

I am very sad this wonderful place is so far away from my home. We stopped on our first trip to Marquette and fell in love with everything about this place. It happened to be happy hour and we tried a few appetizers. The whitefish cake with spicy remoulade was delicious! We also shared a shrimp cocktail and walleye strips both very good. Taking the bartender’s suggestion, the homemade breadsticks were the best ever. The house cheese spread and marinara were perfect. Normally not something I would order, but do try them! Truly hope to make it back to this special place.

We were seated by Rachel, who was a wealth of information and couldn’t have been more genuine in welcoming us. Thereafter, our server Silas was perfection. The outdoor patio has been given expert attention in becoming a beautiful oasis. Loved the vibe and staff morale too - be sure to (tip) buy them a round of beer; see clever way to help employees on menu. The whitefish spread, French Onion soup and patty melt were excellent versions of comfort food… huge menu offering deliciousness. Patio is big dog friendly too. The establishment and its crew definitely earned TEN stars for Perfection! Don’t hesitate.
